Le Parc du Chateau

Chantilly is also an opportunity to stroll through the large 115 hectare park designed by Le Nôtre for the Grand Condé at the end of the 17th century and is unique in the history of gardens in the West.  Here, you can visit the large stables built by the architect Jean Aubert at the request of Louis-Henri de Bourbon, seventh Prince de Condé.  The legend is that the prince thought he would be reborn as a horse so wanted stables worthy of his rank.  Thus, he left for France one of the architectural masterpieces of the 18th century.

The park is open from 1 April to 1 November from 10:00am to 8:00pm daily, except Tuesdays. Le Parc du Chateau is located 26 km from our hotel in Paris Nord.
